TERMS OF SERVICE
PRE-EXISTING VEHICLE CONDITION
Vehicles may contain pre-existing conditions including but not limited to:
Scratches, swirl marks, dents, rock chips, oxidation, or fading
Previous repainting or body repairs
Interior stains, odors, discoloration, or wear
Loose trim, emblems, plastics, tint, wraps, or aftermarket accessories
Cleaning, polishing, steam cleaning, extraction, decontamination, and lighting may reveal imperfections that were not previously visible.
Off Hawaii Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing defects or conditions.
SERVICE RESULTS & EXPECTATIONS
Detailing results vary based on vehicle condition, maintenance history, materials, age, and environmental exposure.
The client understands:
Not all stains, scratches, water spots, odors, or imperfections can be completely removed
Some damage or contamination may be permanent
Heavily neglected vehicles may require additional labor and charges
Black and dark-colored vehicles are more susceptible to visible marring and swirl marks
Off Hawaii Detailing does not guarantee “showroom new” or defect-free results unless explicitly stated in writing.
CERAMIC COATING TERMS
Ceramic coatings provide enhanced protection, gloss, and hydrophobic performance but are NOT:
Scratch-proof
Chip-proof
Swirl-proof
Water spot-proof
Improper maintenance, automatic car washes, environmental fallout, hard water, chemicals, neglect, and improper washing methods may affect coating performance.
Coating longevity varies depending on:
Maintenance
Environmental exposure
Storage conditions
Driving habits
The client agrees to follow all aftercare instructions provided by Off Hawaii Detailing.
CERAMIC COATING CURE PERIOD
Following ceramic coating installation:
The vehicle should remain dry during the recommended cure period
Avoid washing or exposing the vehicle to chemicals during initial curing
Environmental exposure during curing may affect coating performance
Off Hawaii Detailing is not responsible for issues resulting from improper aftercare.
VEHICLE BELONGINGS
Clients are responsible for removing valuables and personal belongings prior to service.
Off Hawaii Detailing is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items left inside the vehicle.
Excessive trash, debris, pet hair, or personal belongings may result in additional charges.
AFTERMARKET & MODIFIED VEHICLES
Off Hawaii Detailing is not responsible for issues involving:
Aftermarket electronics or accessories
Vinyl wraps or PPF
Window tint
Loose or aged trim
Previously repaired surfaces
Lifted, lowered, or modified vehicles
Certain aged or fragile materials may become more vulnerable during cleaning or restoration.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Clients must disclose hazardous conditions including:
Needles or sharp objects
Mold or bodily fluids
Chemical spills
Strong odors or unsafe substances
Off Hawaii Detailing reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if unsafe conditions are present.
Additional charges may apply for hazardous condition remediation.
APPOINTMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
Pricing is based on:
Vehicle size
Condition
Service selected
Estimated labor required
Off Hawaii Detailing reserves the right to adjust pricing if vehicle condition differs significantly from the original booking information.
Cancellation Policy
Minimum 24-hour notice required for cancellations or rescheduling
Deposits and booking fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
Same-day cancellations or no-shows may incur fees up to 50% of the scheduled service total
If the client or vehicle is unavailable at the scheduled appointment time, the appointment may be considered a no-show.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods may include:

Credit/Debit Cards
ACH Transfers
Approved Digital Payments
Clients authorize Off Hawaii Detailing to charge the card on file for:
Approved services
Deposits
Cancellation fees
Outstanding balances
Returned payments or chargebacks may result in additional fees and collection efforts where permitted by law.
LIABILITY LIMITATIONS
Off Hawaii Detailing will exercise reasonable care while servicing vehicles.
However, we are not responsible for:
Pre-existing damage
Previously weakened materials or repairs
Mechanical or electrical failures not caused by negligence
Issues discovered during detailing processes
Normal wear and tear revealed during cleaning or restoration
Any concerns regarding completed services must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
Off Hawaii Detailing reserves the right to inspect and address any concerns before outside repairs or claims are authorized.
PHOTOS & VIDEO
Clients authorize Off Hawaii Detailing to photograph or video vehicles for:
Documentation
Quality control
Marketing and promotional use
Website and social media content
Personal information may be blurred or concealed when appropriate.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Off Hawaii Detailing reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time due to:
Unsafe conditions
Hazardous materials
Inappropriate behavior
Excessive contamination
Circumstances beyond our control
